Guess what this is...

One of the knids (not a typo, that's what they are called now) was trying one of his 'experiments' which usually involves fucking up some of my expensive shit in spectacular fashion. To my surprise, this time instead of the waterballon that he was freezing exploding and blowing up half the electrical stuff in the house, he made a cool thing.

The reason it worked though is because he was impatient. I don't know whether impatientness is a virtue but I now realise that it has a valuable place in the scientific community right up there with stupidity. If it wasn't for stupid people, who would have eaten all the chemicals that we now know will kill you? Well this time the impatientness resulted in a slightly frozen water balloon. When he pulled it out it popped but amazingly (and for the first time ever in the history of these experiments) didn't wreck anything of mine. YAY! When this happened all the centre water leaked out leaving a crispy ice boob 8)

And who says knids are good for nothing?

What the hell is this?: Part III

The eggs are back and in basically the same spot. I really need to know what these are...

Where the hell was my camera?

I have seen meteors before but nothing like this. It was incredible. The thing seemed to be about a kilometre away at eye level and covered the entire length of the horizon in what seemed to be about 6 seconds. Blue flames were shooting out the back and I could see red particles flying off around it as it slowly arced towards the earth. The tail must have been a few hundred metres long. It hadn't burned out when I lost sight of it so i'm pretty sure it must have hit somewhere. Freaking unbelievable. But the weirdest thing of all is last night I dreamed almost the exact same thing. It looked identical to my dream with the blue tail with the red sparks but the whole scene was reversed. In my dream it cam down on a sharper angle and was moving from right to left instead of left to right. As I was watching the real thing tonight, I broke out in goosebumps because my dream ended in a huge explosion when the thing hit. I had a full 6 to 10 second of the most eerie feeling just waiting for the bang... I think I need to lie down.

Edit: It looked a little like this but with a more 'wavy' tail, shallower angle and a lot more red junk sparking off the front.

Adventure Game Studio

Some fantastic chap has made himself some adventure games using the AGS. I think this might inspire me to get off my rump and finally make the adventure game that I was born to make. It's about a skunk that can't stand his own smell and runs around freaking out alot. Hmmm... I just made that up but it doesn't sound as dumb as my real idea.

A glimpse of the past

A guy buys up old cameras that have film left in them and then developes the photos. It's sort of eerie checking out photos of people who are dead and never got to see the photos for themselves.
