I suck at Photoshop

Here is the before shot. Took this one over about 2 minutes in a dark park area. Below is the chopped version which I tried to make "spooky"™

Well the boat didn't have a really small aperture as the quite poorly constructed first sentence would lead you to believe and this poorly executed second sentence should be disregarded all together entirely.
