Halo story summary

I don't like Halo thus far but I am going to play through the last one just so I can rag on it from a platform of experience, not ignorance. I really do hope they can change my mind on the whole thing but I'm pretty stubborn, so I doubt it.

I'll get up to speed with the story so far and then dive in.
