Dogs and spent hops

"First off, my dog is a garbage ninja with an iron stomach. That being said, I noticed on all Brewer's Best kit recipe sheets they say hops are highly toxic to dogs, so I should know better than to turn my back for even a second. Last night my dog helped me brew(OrangeWit!) and snuck the spent hops out of the garbage. Between finding a bunch of info both credible and not so credible and also talking with the vet I wanted to give you guys a rundown of what I found out about hop-doggycide."

My dog ate spent hops. Just got back from vet, want to share some info. : Homebrewing
